Vision Solutions to acquire Double-Take Software

Double-Take Software Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Vision Solutions Inc. The acquisition will cost about $242 million and Double-Take stockholders will receive $10.55 in cash for each share of Double-Take stock that they hold, which represents a premium of 39% and 21% to Double-Take's enterprise value. Double-Take predicts this transaction will close in the third quarter of 2010.
