Verizon adds Riverbed WAN optimization technology to WAN optimization service
Verizon Wireless announced that it is adding Riverbed's wide-area network (WAN) optimization technology to its Managed WAN Optimization Services portfolio. Verizon's Managed WAN Optimization Services allow companies to reduce the amount of time it takes to transfer data between locations. According to Riverbed, their Steelhead appliance can speed up applications between data centers and remote locations by enhancing bandwidth.
