Once a DR program has been completed, what happens next?

Establish an administrative capability -- often referred to as a management system -- to facilitate daily operations of a DR program. Within this system are the staff who organize, schedule and conduct BIAs and risk assessments, facilitate strategy definition and plan writing, organize and conduct exercises, facilitate plan maintenance, support program reviews and audits, evaluate new products and solutions, provide awareness and training support, and coordinate with other company departments such as human resources, IT, risk management, operations, security and facilities management. Finally, be sure to advise management of program achievements so that funding will be maintained.
